Robert C. Solomon is Quincy Lee Centennial Professor at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and has taught at Princeton University, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of California. He is the author of more than twenty books, including From Rationalism to Existentialism, The Passions, In the Spirit of Hegel, The Bully Culture, Up the University, and About Love. He is also the author of Introducing Philosophy: A Text With Integrated Readings, Twenty Questions (with L. Bowie and M. Michaels), and Above the Bottom Line, all published by Harcourt Brace. |
