Jacob Boehme was a 16'Th century shoemaker turned mystic. Living in what is now Germany, Boehme wrote his thoughts about the nature of the universe and of God. The book is not too hard to read, even for the lay reader, and is packed with information about the man and his time. Jacob Boehme deserves his place in the pantheon of great mystics, and weeks helps him there.
