Dr. John MacArthur, a native Californian, pastors Grace Com munity Church in Panorama City.. California. He has traveled in many countries of the world teaching and preaching. Follow ing in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Jack MacArthur, John repre sents five successive generations of pastors in his family. The emphasis of John's ministry is the expository preaching and teaching of God's Word through a verse-by-verse exposition of the Scripture. His studies pay particular attention to the historical and grammatical aspects of each biblical passage and, as a result, are extremely interesting and mentally stimulating. His sphere of in fluence has experienced a steady and substantial growth over the years with both youth and adults.
