In this book the Canon Theologian of Manchester Catherdal offers: an exploration of the meaning of partnership and reconciliation for and through an understanding of public theology; a look at the dramatic changes of the past 40 years from a British and a global perspective; an interpretation of these changing times in the light of historical and contemporary processes, which demonstrates how Christianity acts as an effective partner in such change; and an application of political theology in local, national and international contexts, and a testing of this political theology as practical divinity.
