An new series of inexpensive guides for travellers (and armchair travellers) interested in retracing the jour-neys of early Christian figures. Dr. Meinardus' geographical descriptions are supplemented by historical accounts, references to recent archaeological finds, observations about the life and customs of the con-temporary inhabitants and citations from the Scriptures. Each book is available in either a paperback or hardback version; all books are uniform in for-mat, 51/2" x 81½" and are profusely illustrated with photographs.
