Book's Detail
Son is given

All Scripture is about Christ. That was the discovery that thrilled the

hearts of the disciples on the Emmaus road. That is what makes the Bible so exciting. Christ is its central message, its primary subject matter.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the prophecy of Isaiah. Here Christ appears in all his glory - his coming, kingdom, salvation, works, death and gospel. The author's purpose in this book is that, as we see Christ as the ultimate fulfilment of the prophecy, then our hearts should begin to burn within us, our minds be cleared of confusion and our wills challenged to obedience. It is that, like the Ethiopian treasurer, we should, with A great excitement and eagerness, be moved to follow and serve him.
