Daniel has a very powerful message for Christians today. For its main theme is that it is possible to resist the values of a hostile society without withdrawing from it. Daniel served God and four kings without compromise and with wisdom and integrity.

Like Daniel Christians need to unmask and confront the idols of our day, but they will not be able to do so unless they share his burning conviction that God alone is to be worshipped and served.
