In this companion volume to the author's Higher Criticism of the Pentateuch, He demonstrates that the Book of Genesis is not a compilation from different documents but the continuous work of a single writer. The Unity of the Book of Genesis, along with The Higher Criticism of the Pentateuch, continues to be a classic refutation of the higher critical views of scholars such as K.H. Graf and Julius Wellhausen and their disciples. Many conservative scholars feel that Green's arguments have never been answered.
