This is a course on the Old Testament, written for lower to middle secondary school pupils. It presents well-known stories from the Old Testament, exploring them in the light of modern scholarship. There is emphasis throughout on symbolism, drawing out the meaning of specific symbols and also explaining the symbolic nature of much of the literature of the Old Testament.
