What has Archaeology to do with Faith?

Five prominent scholars present a realistic view of the limits and the value of archaeology for under-standing the Bible and for faith. They propose that archaeology function more intentionally within an interdisciplinary milieu to assist in as accurate a reconstruction of ancient social history as possible.

Implications of archaeology for New Testement studies and the study of Israelite history as well as implications of archaeology for the study of Jesus and Christianity form the core of the book.
