Siegfried H. Horn is Dean and Profes-sor Emeritus at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan, where he served as Professor of Archaeology and History of Antiquity from 1951 to 1976. The university's Archaeological Museum was renamed in his honor in 1978. Dr. Horn excavated at two major biblical sites-at Shechem from 1960 to 1964, and, as expedition director, at Hesban from 1968 to 1973. A former director of the American Center of Oriental Research in Amman, Jordan, Dr. Horn is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Biblical Archaeololgy Review and is the author of 12 books and more than 800 articles.
