Book's Detail
Christian's Handbook of Biblical Scholarship

This book is the follow-up to "The Christian's Handbook of Manuscript Evidence," going into more detail that the former work. In this work, Dr. Ruckman shows the reader what is really behind the continual attacks against the Authorized Version by the "Scholars' Union." The roots of Bible criticism are examined, and the difference between the Bible (AV 1611) and the modern "reliable translations" is shown. Both sides of the question are clearly presented, including the attacks on the character of King James I, word changes in the various editions of the KJV, the opinions of "good, godly" men about the so-called errors in the AV, and the variations between the editions of the Textus Receptus. Examples are given of the superiority of the King James Authorized Version over "THE" Greek and Hebrew texts.(Print 560 pages)
