<note>The doctrine of evolution is the creation of men of genius. To under- estimate it and its impact is dangerous. Creationists must carefully set forth a case for creation with all the care and skill a lawyer would use before a skeptical jury. One purpose of this book is to formu- late such ideas logically and to present them effectively and constructively.

Many who consider themselves Christian believers are satisfied to leave the biblical creation account in the category of a charming and instructive fable-not to be taken seriously as history, and surely not as science. But that is not enough. The authors of this book show that the creation account is a fact.
