<note>Phillip, Alan
This book addresses the common human experience of feeling dejected, glum, and "down in the dumps." The ideas and suggestions in the book are presented to help a person get through their gloom and feel better. In twenty-one chapters I address such issues as fear, anger, grief, unforgiveness, negative self-talk, conversation therapy, humor, self-knowledge, soulfulness, unselfishness and the importance of work, and the importance of having a dream. In three bonus chapters, I reflect on death, forgiveness, self-worth and the meaning of suffering from a perspective of faith.</note>
