Word Alive! is an adult Bible study course which focuses on learning, loving and living the Christian faith in the context of modern culture. The course materials include: video presentations by ten outstanding scholars and pastors, this textbook, a participant's workbook with discussion questions, and

a leader's guide. The subject matter of the textbook deals with the Bible and the biblical story; the history of Christianity and the church in the modern world; and Christian faith and the application of biblical principles to everyday life.
