While this book is a brief refutation of claims made recently by the Jehovah's Witnesses that the Trinity is an apostate concept which should be rejected by all Christians, it is also a valuable resource for those believers who wish to increase their under- standing of this doctrine.

Robert Bowman simply and clearly explains the biblical basis for faith in the Trinity. He does not offer a thorough or exhaustive study of the doctrine of the Trinity, but some sec- tions should interest all Christians. Bowman offers positive reasons for believing in the Trinity. He demonstrates how belief in the Trinity assumes that salvation is completely a work of God, a problematic position for those who would prefer a "works religion." Bowman also articulates concise and easily understood definitions of ambiguous terms and concepts.
