<note>A brief book, Victory in Jesus has been written to help those of you who want to understand more fully your God-given purpose in life and wish to experience more godly joy. Christ prayed that His followers would experience His joy, which was made full at the Cross. God invites every person of every generation to join Him in becoming a member of His eternal close-knit holy family. Upon acceptance, every member is asked to help others who are still living separate from God to know Him and join His eternal family and kingdom. Through the Holy Spirit, God develops love for all in the hearts of His family members and commissions each of them to be His representatives on earth. Like Christ, His followers experience great joy over every individual who is rescued from the deceptions of self-centeredness, selfishness, and Satan. As you realize more fully what God is asking of you and what Satan is doing to quench the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will be liberated to follow Christ more fully into spiritual battle resulting in more coming to know God and desiring to be part of His eternal family. Through God’s children becoming more active in His Creation, God will become more fully known and trusted worldwide.
Victory in Jesus addresses a very real and serious problem in many of our contemporary churches: a watered down Gospel message that hinders true salvation with the result that only a few are truly experiencing the joy of following Christ and bringing many into His kingdom. This brief book emphasizes the need for all of Christ’s followers to have a proper relationship with God within the family and lordship of God, which results in a desire to see many come to Him. Love overcomes trials and tribulations as those who are part of God’s family reveal the deceptions of Satan to those still living a self-centered life. This book sheds light on many areas of our contemporary life that need God’s input, addressing critical issues to help spiritually wake-up as many as will listen.
Over the years, I have seen many Christians who are not very excited about their walk with Christ nor are they bringing the lost to God. I realized that Satan has deceived many into thinking that they have been saved through some type of a pass to heaven instead of a genuine relationship with God. I wrote Victory in Jesus and Experiencing Jesus’ Joy to illuminate the reality of God’s desire for His close-knit holy family to walk in holiness with Him exposing the present and eternal destruction caused by those who are living apart from Him. God wants all to walk with Him in holiness growing in love for Him and others and experiencing great joy and inner peace even as everyone in some form or other is affected by the ongoing spiritual battles.
An exciting life with Christ starts with a genuine commitment to follow Him. God does not accept lukewarm followers. While under great duress, just prior to going to the Cross for all, Jesus prayed that those who followed Him would experience the same joy that He was experiencing as He looked at the great salvation made possible for all who learned to love, trust, and obey God (John 17:13). Jesus said that His followers would do greater works than He had done up to the point of His sacrificial death (John 14:12) referring to their future labors when they would join Him in bringing many into God's Kingdom and family through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. God, the Father, wants everyone to follow Jesus closely and experience with Him His great joy, inner peace, and excitement as they overcome together the deceptions of Satan leading many others into His glorious eternal presence.
It is my prayer that these truths will encourage and energize you to study and apply abundantly the Scriptures to your life. As your understanding of your place in God’s family grows, you will find yourself more available to do those things that are pleasing to Him.
