<note>WHAT is the testimony of baptism? Should believers alone be baptised? What mode should be used? By withholding infant baptism, do baptists deprive their children of covenant privilege? Do baptists fail to appreciate the importance of the old covenant?

These and many other questions are explained in this study of the positive witness of baptism. The author shows that a full understanding of the doctrine of believer's baptism should increase appreciation of both the old and new covenants. The baptism of believers alone truly witnesses to the biblical doctrine of regeneration and the sovereignty of God in salvation.

Erroll Hulse is pastor of the Cuckfield Baptist Church Sussex. He has written and edited several books, a editor of the magazine Reformation Today.</note>
