Herschel H. Hobbs is pastor of the First Baptist Church, Okla- homa City, and preacher on the international Baptist Hour. He is a graduate of Howard College (A.B.), and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Th.M., Ph.D.).

Previous to his present pastorate, Dr. Hobbs served at the following churches: Calvary Baptist Church, Birmingham, Ala- bama, Clayton Street Baptist Church, Montgomery. Alabama, Emmanuel Baptist Church, Alexandria, Louisiana, and the Dauphin Way Baptist Church, Mobile, Alabama.

Among the books authored by Dr. Hobbs are: Coward or Conquerors, Who Is This?, The Gospel of Giving. Studies in Hebrews, Moses Mighty Men, and The Crucial Words from Cal tary. He is the writer of numerous significant articles for religious journals and periodicals
