Spiros Zodhiates was born on the island of Cyprus, of Greek parents. After completing his Greek education, he attended the American University in Cairo, Egypt, the National Bible Institute, New York University and Luther Rice Seminary in the United States. He holds the degrees of Th.B., M.A. and Th.D. In 1946 he came to the United States at the invitation of American Mission to Greeks, Inc., of which he is now President. Founded in 1942, it was a one-room, two-part-time employee organization when Spiros Zodhiates undertook its leadership. Now, as AMG International, it occupies its own international headquarters building at 6815 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and carries on a world-wide evangelistic and relief ministry. |
