One of the best sources of information about studies on Jesus is Craig Evans's Life of Jesus Research: An Annotated Bibliography. This larger volume, intended for advanced scholars with its listing of many foreign- language and hard-to-find books and journals, is now presented in an abbreviated version designed speci- fically for beginning students. Each bibliographical entry is annotated and contains information about available English translations of many German and French works.
