Every age, every theology, every world view has its own Jesus. Some theologians have invented a sentimental Jesus who is all for peace and harmony and social justice. The modern humanist invents a Jesus who is the supreme example of self-giving service to his fellow men. Others think of him as an anemic friend of little children, incapable of any angry thought or divisive action. Who is the real Jesus? Why did he say, "I came to set the earth on fire"?
