There are more than veiled references to the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. The Spirit is seen as the creator, the renewer of the life of humanity in redemption, as the Person through whom the prophets of the Lord were inspired and through whom men and women received the gifts of wisdom for leadership, administration, and craftsmanship.
