<note>Because of Canada's cultural mosaic, until now there has never been a spiritual movement that has touched the whole nation. The current charismatic renewal extends from one end of the country to the other. It not only crosses denominational lines but is actually bringing Christians together.

How did all this start? Al Reimers set out to find some ans- wers. His travels took him across Canada to big cities like Van- couver, Toronto, and Montreal; to small, northern communities like Snow Lake, Manitoba and Attawapiskat, Ontario. He spoke to bishops and to children; to Christians of many denomin- ations, in all walks of life. Some of these people tell of the renewal in their own words.</note>
