Fr. Francis Martin, S.T.L., S.S.D. has been a leader in the Charismatic Renewal since 1968. He has taught Sacred Scripture both in Rome and in Jerusalem and is, at present, Professor of New Testament at the Dominican House of Studies, Washington, D.C. and adjunct Professor of Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Fr. Martin is a member of Mother of God Community in Washington, D.C. and is a contributing writer for the periodical, The Word Among Us. He has published numerous studies on both scholarly and popular levels. The current study was written to present a solid scholarly faith vision of the grace by which God is renewing the Church: Baptism in The Holy Spirit.
