Book's Detail
Exploring apologetics: selected readings

Is Christianity logical or reasonable? How can we Lexplain why we believe in God? Is it possible to defend our beliefs when we encounter challenges to our faith from unbelievers? These are questions that many Christians have wrestled with, and this book includes some of the answers that have been suggested.

The readings in this collection are divided into three main parts. The first section discusses worldviews, perspectives that influence our understanding of reality. The second section considers some of the common objections to Christianity and offers some possible answers to the arguments. The third section contains affirmations of faith by four different authors.

The 38 selections in the book were written by a wide range of leading Christian authors. The collection includes works by C.S. Lewis, Philip Yancey, Peter Kreeft, Rebecca Manley Pippert, Tim Stafford, R.C. Sproul, J.I. Packer, Annie Dillard, Nicholas Wolterstorff, Cornelius Plantinga, and others. The readings were selected to give a broad cross section of views on the important topic of apologetics.

Exploring Apologetics will help you gain a better understanding of how to explain and defend your faith in a world that is often hostile or indifferent to Christianity.
