Tj. Bosgra has shown his concern for society's impact on the family through his involvements in the commun- ity. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Right to Life from 1972-1979. Both he and his wife were instrumental in the establishment of the Christian Reformed Church in Hawaii. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Oahu (Hawaii) Associa- tion of Evangelicals and is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Evangelicals. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of the Hawaii Youth for Christ. He is an active speaker for business and community affairs on moral as well as poli- tical issues.

Terry, as he is known by his friends, is a Christian businessman and owns a highly successful insurance agency in Honolulu. He is a registered lobbyist and fre- quent traveler to Washington, D.C. and has made many appearances on Hawaii's television and radio stations.

Terry spent his childhood in Holland during Hitler's regime and moved, shortly after the war, to New Zea- land where he met his wife, Pamela. They are the parents of two sons, ages 11 and 13. For the last twenty years, they have made Hawaii their home and live in Hawaii Kai, a suburb of Honolulu.
