Aids: living and dying with hope

A pastoral minister assisting in the care of AIDS patients must be sensitive to a range of complicated issues. In addition to providing care during an obvious crisis of health, a minister is often called on to help patients deal with unresolved issues on sexuality, the phobias and fears of family members and the grief generated by a life cot tragically short

This book is written to help pastoral ministers provide genuine and affective care for persons with AIDS, The AIDS syndrome and disease, its related diseases, prognosis and nsedical care are clearly and adequately described. The ministerial care of terminal AIDS patients is explored thoroughly, along with the religious outreach to family and Survivors. The book can also help pastors to deepen their own values about death, love, sexuality, faithfulness and the radical meaning of life. Even in crisis situations and perhaps especially then-this book can assist in the discovery of what it means to live and die with hope
