Dr. Hoover Wong is a senior professor and former director of Chinese Studies at the School of World Mission, Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California.

He has served the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., as a pastor for twenty-seven years, and has taught full-time at Fuller for the past ten years. He has also lectured in Chinese studies in over fourteen colleges and seminaries in North America, Hong Kong, Australia, Korea and mainland China.

Contributor of many articles on the Chinese diaspora, he serves as a contributing editor to the inter-national journal, Chinese Around the World, situated in Hong Kong (mainland China).
