"Small is beautiful." It's become a truism everywhere everywhere, that is, except the church. Yet over 50 percent of the congregations in most major Protestant denominations have 200 members or less. Either small churches seize the unique opportunities and advantages they have for mission and ministry or the Christian message may not be heard in America today.
