Since 1968 a dialogue has token ploce between Roman Catholics and those in the Presbyterion/Reformed tradition. Over the years this consultation has considered such subjects os abortion, human rights, women in the church, ond nee Christian marriage

The topic of Round IV and the subject of this book-> was the relationship of church and state, with the locus on two specific areas: the church and nucleox woxfore and the church and educalion

In faking up discussion of these topics, the porticiporis studled the 1983 Bishops Pastoral Letter on war and peace as well as documents from Presbyterionn Reformed bodies on the same issue. These are included in the book, along with some of the background papers on the subject of education

All of these contributed to the consultation document itself, "Partners in Peace and Education." Study questions are provided as well to encourage others to take part in similar discussions with those of other traditions.
