Workaholic and his family: an inside look

Frank Minirth ... [et al.].
Workaholism-its symptoms, causes, and cures-is can- didly probed in this book, authored by five former workaholics-busy doctors, counselors, pastors, and teachers-who have struggled (and still do) to keep their families at the top of their lists of priorities. They write from a sound theological, psychological, and educational back- ground. The valuable lessons they have learned (and have taught each other) profoundly transformed their personal lives, their families, and their ultimate impact for Christ.

Dr. Frank Minirth and Dr. Paul Meier are partners in the Minirth- Meier Clinic, Dallas. In addition, Dr. Minirth is an adjunct teacher of pastoral ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary, and Dr. Meier devotes time to speaking and writing. Dr. Frank Wichern is direc- tor of counseling services and assistant professor of pastoral ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary. Bill Brewer is senior pastor of Richland Bible Fellowship. States Skipper, an ordained minister, is also a counselor in the Minirth-Meier Clinic.
