Atkinson Rose was Associate Professor of Homiletics &#38; Worship at Colombia Theological Seminary, Decatur, GA. For four years she lived with cancer, which finally took her life. In and through the experience she gave a marvelous witness to the love and power of God. She committed herself to Jesus Christ and rested in his care, expressing again and again her readiness to accept whatever God sent to her During those years she preached, taught, wrote let ters to friends and, for part of the time, kept a journal.
