Your house has been robbed, and you've lost many valuable items. As you're making up a list for the insurance company, a friend drops by. He says you should inflate the value of the iterns because insurance companies make nuge profits and also they will undoubtedly depreciate the amount of the loss you claim. What would you do? You are a married woman and have three children. Because your husband has developed a serious heart condition and is unable to work, you've taken a job to support the family. There's terrific pressure on you because of the family's current financial needs and a pile of past-due bills. Your boss offers to double your salary if you'll agree to a more intimate relationship. He also implies you might lose your job unless you go along with his suggestion. It's a good, high-paying position, and you know you'll have a hard time getting another like it. He's an attractive, discreet man-no one will know about the situation unless you yourself choose to disclose it. What would you do? |
